RSA is a crucial and significant public-key cryptosystem. However the time-consuming modulo exponentiation computation, which has always been the bottle-neck of RSA, restricts its wider application. This paper represents an efficient algorithm, which combines SMM into 2k system to improve the processing of encryption and decryption. Also a prototype system developed by Visual C++6.0 is presented.
