At present, the revolving type air preheater, with its prominent advantage, is the most popular air preheater applied in power station. However, there lies a particular air leakage problem of revolving type air preheater, which will lead to serious energy waste. Therefore, the leakage control technology of air preheater becomes an important problem that must be solved.In this thesis, several advanced control methods are adopted to improve the performance of the traditional air preheater leakage control system using non-touched sensor.Model referenced adaptive control and expertise control are applied to restrain the influence of gap measurement signal drift on control system. The experiment result shows that methods are effective.To deal with the self-regulation problem coming from the accidental fault of the measurement sensor, the hot-deformation model of air preheater built by Elman neural network is used to replace the measurement function of gap sensor. This model control method is original and effective verified by the practical data acquired from industrial field.Based on CAN bus, this thesis develops an innovational air preheater leakage control system, with PCS structure to fulfil the optimal control over system structure and the multi-signals transfer.
