Intelligence fusion,namely synergetically applied technology of multi-source information,is a technology to obtain a consistent description of the researched object to further discover new information concealed in the organic combination of the multisource information by processing the data which are redundant and complemefitary in space or in time and by synergetically applying the data. Therefore,the intelligence fusion system has better performance than the discrete components of which the intelligence fusion system composed. In other words,intelligence fusion is a technology based on synthetically applying multi-source syntagmatic information. It supports information-sharing,enhancing the whole system's performance,reliability,stability and the ability of fault toleration by applying information synergetically,remedying the limitation which results from segmental and inaccurate information,Various medical images provide different information of the organ concerned. For example,CT and MRI provide distinctly anatomical information,and PET and SPECT provide organic function information though their space resolution are relatively low. Though multiple medical images can obviously provide more complete and comprehensive information,the information may be contradicted in some cases. Undoubtedly,organically combining information of multiple medical images will advance modern medical clinic diagnosis greatly. As a peculiar applied field of intelligence fusion,medical image fusion brings about a new way of thinking of medical clinic diagnosis through integrating different segment of information obtained from processing multi-source information of CT,MRI,SPECT,and PET et al.As high-tech newly developed in 90's,medical image fusion technology has become one of the heated research fields now .In the present,many scholars have attributed to it by providing lots of resolution of which few could be applied clinic although. As a result,there are still many problems left for further research.The outline of our research is to put forward a solution of medical image fusion that is based on analyzing current data of medical images and an induction of the methods of image fusion. First,we extract the organic contour of the medical images. Then do image registration based on organic contour extraction. Finally,produce medical image fusion with wavelet transform.,such are my major tasks.1. The up-to-data datum is collected widely,the data of medical image datum is analyzed and the methods of image registration are induced:Chapter 1.2. The technology of wavelet transform is studied systemically:Chapter 2.3. A method of contour extraction of object based on wavelet analysis is proposed:Chapter 3.4. A method of medical image registration based on contour extraction is proposed:Chapter 4.5. A method of image fusion with wavelet is proposed:Chapter 5A basic experimental platform is developed with VC 6.0. All the algorithms included in this paper have been implemented by computer programming. All results have been analogized with computer.The task in this paper is a research project of Academy of Guangxi with assistance from Nanxishan Hospital of Guilin which provides us with invaluable aids such as experimental equipments,technological datum and personnel resources.
