Computer image processing technology analysising the wear surface character had developed rapidly,and got widely recognition and application.According to the wear-surface image obtained by digital image-collection system,I analyse the wear mechanism, then, construe wear shape character with edge detection and skeleton map technology, calculate the proportion of different wear mechanism to the whole mechanism with area measurement, judge the texture character of image based on the method of texture analysis so as to provide reference for the computer's intelligentize identity to wear methanism.My job is as followed:1. Analysing the wear mechanism of abrasive.adhesive wear.2. Detaching the wear region and background,caculating the threshold value is 151, 147, 118 taking overlap method and maximum dispersion method of high-load small particle abrasive wears low-load big particle abrasive wear and adhesive wear, then processing edge detection and skeleton map with classical sobel and Gauss-laplace and kirsch arithmetic operators of template matching method,making the shape skeleton produced by different wear mechanism embodied cleared.and analysing the trait of shape skeleton.3. Calculating the portion and area of different wear form made by wear methenism witha coding method based on the margin element.and judging the action degree of wear methanism.4. Analysing the texture of wear surface image through Fourier frequency spectrum andgrey matrix eigenvalue, image texture has respective character because of affection of different wear methanism.
