This thesis studies the application of distributed information system designed for Medicine trade Management. A medicine trade management software system,called COS,is designed and implemented. The system conforms to the Good Supply Practice (GSP) published by State Drug Administration. It supports the general standard managements of buying,selling,distribute,stocking,customer relation,and employee relation in the process of medicine management. Moreover,it also has the functions of salesman management,profit analysis,decision-making and financial report forms writing,etc. The features of COS are:powerful functions,robustness,high running speed,less limitation to the hardware,complete versions,high security and secrecy,high expansibility,and high maintenance. Operations of the system are user friendly so that it does not need to have the professional staff to maintain. And the cost of development and maintenance are decreased distinctively,because COS is based on the software engineering technologies and customer requirements are understood basically.The main innovation of the thesis:1. Based on the actual environment,the author successfully implements the distributed multi-server system composed by multiple Client/Server systems in unstable low-speed telephone network,and successfully guarantees the integrality and consistency of data. The thesis proposes the method of ensuring integrality and consistency of data of multi-server system,which can increase transmit speed in common telephone network and reduce the cost of users. Its transmit speed is much higher than the other systems of same class. 2. Design and implement the software components with the related technology,and implement COS by software reuse. The modularization design of COS can make it simpler and faster to buildup the software of different architecture by utilizing various COS components,which can meet the requirements of all kinds of users. In the process of development,software components are not only used in COS,but also widely used in developing other products. The modularization design and the development of software components much reduce the cost of COS development,and increase the efficiency of software development.As a thinking of the information system security,the thesis presents an improvement to the One-Time Password System (OTP) that is described in RFC2289 (Request for Comments). A protocol,One-Time Password Authentication Protocol (OTPAP),is brought forth for the authentication between users and nodes or nodes and nodes of a network/distributed system. By the research to OTP,a fault is discovered that a fake login user can acquire by cheating users the one-time password that will but not yet be used,and then log in successfully with the password. Otherwise,if the user's secret pass-phrase leaked,the only thing that OTP can do is initialization. As well as preserving the current advantages of OTP,OTPAP also patches up some faults successfully:it can be used not only for theidentification of users,but also for preventing effectively the fake login. Besides,it can construct a reliable security information channel between the users and login nodes,and OTPAP also supports the remote modification of secret pass-phrases and iterative values even if the user's secret pass-phrase has been leaked or the iterative value has been zero. A prototype demo system is already completed. COS system has been put into production and applied successfully in fifty-eight medicine corporations.
