All kinds of data relating to the operation of the whole mobile telecommunication network need to be extracted into database to support the upper network management application in the development of integrated mobile telecommunication network management system. This paper summarized and realized all data extraction modes in the network and studied the extraction stability based on the project. Considering the heterogeneity and universality of data source, results of this research are universally useful to data collection in common information system like database and data warehouse etc.Outcomes of this paper are as follows:(1) Summarized the modes of data extraction available and provided the implementation of them.(2)JDBC data replication gateway can flexibly access almost all kinds of relational databases at the same time.(3) The Telnet and FTP protocol are analyzed in this paper and anembeddable FTP client program was implemented to get files-in-in remote host automatically. And the program can also access database to get information needed such as filenames etc.(4) A text extraction language is brought forward, analyzed, designed and realized and the thought of the hierarchical abstracting and implementation in software engineering is introduced. And this program language can be widely used as a data extraction tool in a data warehouse project to extracting data from text file to database.(5) In-depth analysis about performance of system, database and network has been given. Besides, in order to avoid bottleneck and improve performance, proper handling method on performance and stability of network program has also been provided and implemented through the explanation of essential and detailed problems in network programming.(6) The thought of automatic maintenance through checking the running processes is fit for large-scaled long-running application group.
