There is a huge gulf between practice and theory of classical control theory and modern control, and this two kinds of theory are based on exact model. But in practice the exact model of controlled object is very difficult to construct, or its configuration is very complex. In order to remove the inconsistent phenomenon, a new compute control arithmetic-model predictive control is developed in the process of practical industrial application.Combined with the advantage of general predictive control and that of classical control, a general predictive control method is put forward based on closed loop system. According to different practical object, the method can be used to control the closed loop system composed with classical control theory, or two of the methods are used together. The controlling idea extends the applied scope of predictive control.At present, direct general predictive control only simplifies algorithm, but the number of the parameters needed identification is increased. According to the default, a new kind of direct predictive control algorithm is put forward, which is based on the direct general predictive control ands is easy to get control variables.In the experiment of simulation and real-time control, the designed method is used in the experiment of flow-rate control, and the result is satisfying. At last the controlling effect of the method is compared with the PID method.Using industrial control software "Kingview" and software "Matlab" in the experiment, it is very easy to simulate and control a practical object, which can extricate technician from complex programming.
