Communication Protocol Research On Home Network Of Digital Community

Along with the developing of computer and network technology, the network began entering the family and changing the habits of human life. In the constructing of Digital Community, we need Home Network that can provide good service for the inhabitant. This paper provides the whole constructing solution for Home Network.Aimed of providing home appliance control system in Digital Community, this paper complete the design of Home Network Communication Protocol step by step. In the first, this paper gives the design of Home Network architecture, according to its related environment. In the architecture, Home Network comprises Home Gateway, center of Home Network, and three subnetworks: Appliance Control Network, Home Data Communication Network and Home A/V Network. Then, considering Home Network Architecture and feather of network appliances information processing, a software solution of local and remote appliances control is put forward. The Appliance Control Service system is divided into three systems: appliance information register system, appliances status query system and appliances control system. To achieve the Home Network, this paper gives a design of Home Gateway based on Linux system, referring the embedded system. At last, considering the Appliance Control Service system information-processing feather, and referring the OSI model, this paper puts forward the Communication Protocol model and gives details of Application Protocol and Transport Protocol.
