The Design And Implement Of SSL In The Embedded Browser

With the development of network technology, we are accustomed to getting e-mail or shopping on the internet. The confidential data, such as the banking accounts, passwords, are transported by web pages. So the network safety is the urgent issue in the internet.SSL is the abbreviation of Secure Socket Layer, which can implement secret transportation. The Netscape corporation put forward the SSL protocol whose edition is 3.0 now. The target of SSL protocol is providing secret communication between server and client. Now SSL protocol becomes industry standard of secret communication on the internet.At present, the banking or e-commerce business systems on the internet at large adopt SSL protocol to essure safety. Servers use web service on ssl and clients use browsers supporting ssl.This thesis primarily discusses what I have done in the project, the design and implement of SSL in the embedded browser. Firstly, the thesis shows the background of ssl and the project. Secondly, it introduces theories of encrypt. Thirdly, it describes ssl protocol and openssl. Fourthly, it describes the design and implement of ssl in embedded browser. The chapter is the key part of this thesis. Finally, there is the prospect of the project.
