The Algorithm Study And Standards Implement Of Video Coding

This article studys the key algorithm of video coding and implements the H.263 and MPEG-4 based on DT-mesh according to the standards of ITU-T and ISO/IEC.Firstly, two new algorithms based on analysis of the standards H.263 syntax are proposed. One is on judgment of zero block before DCT, the other changes the reference points which can be used to motion estimation. Experimental results show that this formula improves the speed of video coder at the same PSNR without damaging the image quality. Then this paper designs an integrated coding algorithm based on DT-mesh according to mandate of MPEG-4 hi which a motion estimation algorithm based on DT-mesh is proposed and data structure is transformed in order to fulfill the coding order of MPEG-4.Finally, compared with the former algorithm of H.263 standards, the advantages ?of the latter algorithm in MPEG-4 are high compress ratio and multi-resolution with utilitarian value.
