Special Database And Back-end Data Processing Of EDA

With the development of electronic design, nonstandard design or non-compatible data bring obstacle for the speediness of designing engineering. A system of data supporting and source sharing must developed to guarantees accuracy of the design by adopting certification of automatic design. The paper deals with automatic technology of design certification and the method of source sharing. A new special Client/Server structure which certification combines database and file volume of atomization design is gibe in the paper. Access database of client end and MS SQL Server applied to the server in the system. Speediness query, compressing and transferring files through net are realized in the system. Brand new database version management and a synchronizing innovation technology between different databases are presented in this paper. The method of PCB data exchange between personal computer EDA tools Protel and workstation tools Mentor is discussed in the paper, the speediness and efficiency of data exchange are realized. The management and data processing realized in different aspects lay a solid foundation of theory and practice for the establishment of database and data sharing.
