Design And Implementation Of Cross_Connecting Module In SDH

In an intelligentized SDH(Synchronous Digital Hierarchy) systent, the Cross_Connecting module is a very important unit. This paper describes the foundation and structure of SDH system . Especially, it describes the principle and design of the Cross5onnccting module in detail. In order to implement the flexible and multiplex application of the SDH sysetm , a three level switch network used in the design of the Cross_Connecting niodule is introduced. Based on this design , the Cross_Connecting module not only can accomplish the cross connecting between VC-4s,but also can implement the cross connecting of any VC-12s. The hierarchical thinking in the software design is also Introduced in this paper. By this way , the software completed has a good performance in maintainability and transportability. Finally, this paper describes the implementation and configuration of the Cross_Connecting module in different APS(Autontatic Protection switching) network application.
