In this paper, the method Qf equivalent edge currents(MEC) and electromagneticscattering from target coated plasma are studied. The method of equivalent edge cur-rents(MEC)is applied to study mono radar cross section (RCS) of simple objects, andthe calculational results well answer for experimental results. Bistatic radar cross sec-tion of a missile is calculated. Monolayer accurate impedance boundary conditions(IBC)and multilayers approximate impedance boundary conditions(IBC) are studied ,and inthin coated conditions, multilayers approximate impedance boundary conditions is ap-plied to the imhomogeneous medium to computer the reflectance. Tanh transform isapplied to compute Maliuzhinets function ,and the precision is enhanced. Tanh trans-form is applied to Miliuzhinets method ,and Multilayers approximate impedanceboundary conditions is combined to Maliuzhinets method to compute mono radar crosssection(RCS) of flat coated by inhomogeneous plasma. Mie theory is applied to com-pute radar cross section (RCS) of sphere and cylinder coated by homogeneous and im-homogeneous plasma. Then the effects of the parameters of plasma(electric density, collision frequency and thickness) on RCS are studied, and the suitable parameters fordifferent frequency band are determined. Physics optics (P0) is applied to calculateRCS of part of one missile coated by imhomogeneous plasma, and radar cross sec-tion(RCS) is minished about 20 dbsm.
