At the same time, as the northwest region's only institution of higher physical ------ Xi'an Institute of Physical Education are also located in Xi'an, for these two reasons, the reform and opening up began in Xi'an,table tennis training for primary and secondary schools classes,City Board of Education and Sports Bureau of the layout of sports in secondary schools have also set up table tennis traditional schools,which for the table tennis sport in Xi'an The development and popularity of schools has played an important role. The mid-90s,there have been parents,social see high scores,the school look at the phenomenon of college entrance rate,the school only to lay special emphasis on culture and class,ignoring the overall quality of the training of students,and even physical education in some schools will be directly replaced by culture and class,sports scores also separated from the entrance examination,the physical quality of the students decreased significantly over time,which not only contrary to the national aims of education, but also hindered the comprehensive development of students,conduct of the sport in secondary schools will enter a freeze period.With the "sunshine sports" in Xi'an City Bureau of Education who proposed and re-examination into secondary school exam sports a total score, sports scores a direct impact on the student's studies, which have been students and their parents attention. In this context, this study in the "sunshine sports" against the background of secondary school table tennis to carry out the situation in Xi'an as the research object, randomly selected Xi'an Forest of Stone Tablets,Wild Goose Pagoda,Lianhu three urban secondary schools for the investigation of a total of nine objects, pairs of secondary school students where the school leadership and physical education teachers to investigate access.The use of literature,field survey and questionnaire survey,expert interviews, mathematical statistics and so on,table tennis school of Xi'an in the "sunshine sports" to carry out the situation before and after the field investigation and research, in order to implement our province "sunshine sports" and the future of secondary schools table tennis to carry out to provide a broad theoretical basis. Conclusion of the study:(1) Xi'an middle school physical education curriculum to carry out strictly in accordance with the implementation of extra-curricular activities carried out on time, the contents are clearly defined,but because of the workload heavy,physical education and extracurricular activities often been diverted phenomenon.(2) nvestment in secondary schools in Xi'an,site equipment,amateur training and competitions there are still some problems,Xi'an table tennis to carry out the whole situation a little better than ordinary key middle schools.(3) In Xi'an middle school PE teacher is a teacher to young teachers based on the awareness level of table tennis is relatively high,but most schools physical education teachers in special little table tennis.(4) Table tennis sports students are loved by some students no longer meet the school's learning and participating in external training courses organized to improve their table tennis table tennis level. But most students due to space equipment, teachers and,in particular the impact of academic pressure,poor students in table tennis technology.(5) Carried out in Xi'an middle school after-school table tennis game is better, the survey of 24 schools,17 schools in the occasional or regular school Table Tennis Competition.
