| The 29th Beijing Olympic Games has been successfully closed, but this Olympics inspired the hearts of every people. It has a long history of 5000 years of ancient civilization and finally crosses the peak of the history of sport. Olympic Games bring Olympic spirit into our country, so that every Chinese people have felt the charm of sports. People's enthusiasm has also been praised by many foreign friends. Their actions of good quality revealed in the traditional Confucian thinking long ago. Olympic was so popular that caused the interaction of the Olympic spirit and the traditional Chinese culture. The scholars believe that the Olympic spirit and the Chinese traditional culture that have something in common, they are in accordance with development of the times and had a positive impact on the human communication.In this paper, the essence of traditional Chinese culture of Confucianism was extracted with the combination of the Olympic spirits, and the fusions of parts are the purpose of the research. In this paper, through documents and data, logic, analysis and case analysis, the author explains the meaning and significance of the Olympic spirits and Confucianism clearly, and through the analysis of the status of their development, the author identifies the common points between them. Some examples are given in order to prove the interaction between the Olympic spirit and Confucianism.Olympic spirits focus on the tolerance and understanding of cultural differences in order to build up a kind of spirits atmosphere which conclude friendship, solidarity and mutual understanding. Olympic Games are not only competitive sports, but also a carrier of peace in the form of competitive communication and advocacy, which brought the Olympic spirit around the world, and perfectly integrated with the local cultures. China's traditional Chinese culture of Confucianism is also people-oriented, so it is also the reason for putting forward the slogan of People's Olympics. Confucianism have a long history because it based on friendship and politeness, adhering to peaceful reunification of the country thinking has become our country's thinking. Two kinds of intangible heritage can be bound to have some enduring ties, so there are some values to prove how the Olympic spirit and China's Confucian are correlated with each other.The authors use novel and clear text to present some examples of the interaction of the Olympic spirit and Confucianism, aiming at providing more and more comprehensive Olympic spirit examples for the Chinese post-Olympic period, which lead to more in-depth understanding and develop.
