Effectiveness of school moral education is not satisfactory currently, from a fundamental point of view, this result is largely due to the limitations of moral education in schools. Because moral activities'means, such as moral contents, methods, and teachers themselves are varying degrees of limitations, while moral education in schools are with time and space constraints, school moral education's impact exists constraints inevitably. So, how to compensate for this limitation?In recent years, returning to the life of moral education will undoubtedly have this effect, therefore, choosing the existent moral education resources is a breakthrough in solving the problem. Under the guidance of this idea, traditional festivals correspond to the requirement, and enter into the author's research horizon. Chinese traditional festivals contain abundant moral education resources, in favor of regulating the relationship between people, furthering the feelings between people and enhancing national cohesion. After over and over thought, I chose Tomb-sweeping Day as my study's object. Starting from life education and life moral education theory, Tomb-sweeping Day regards as a realistic education sample of returning to the real life, to mine inherent moral educational resources, to construct a full, open and ethical learning environment for students, to go deep into the real life and taste by themselves all sorts of moral education, finally in order to compensate for the limitations of moral education in schools, to enrich the contents and means of moral education, it has a certain theoretical significance and practical value.On research methods, the author adopts firstly Field Work, that is the method of collecting facts, and concretely applys the observation and interview in the course of Field Work. Because Tomb-sweeping Day is a social phenomenon, involved lively people, therefore the study shouldn't use natural methods, should use Field Work and descriptions to take on study results, which presents study objects or contexts more accurately. After weighing the pros and cons, the author chose Tomb-sweeping Day in Yibin County as the study object of Field Work. First, in order to facilitate the study work, the second is Tomb-sweeping Day in Yibin County maintaining a good tradition and attracting with people popularly. After a month of initial investigation, I realize Tomb-sweeping Day containing moral education significance. Next, I will focuse on surveying some towns of Yibin County during the festival of Tomb-sweeping Day, eventually write down the course of activities of Tomb-sweeping Day about one family named Li in Baihua Town as the study text of Field Work into the paper. Because festival ceremonies and activities are essentially the same on tracking three families, in additon, due to the article content's limitation, only to describe the family named Li how they spend Tomb-sweeping Day. Finally, on the basis of the facts, to analyse Tomb-sweeping Day of Baihua Town if it has moral eduction significance.In this study the logical thinking is as follows:First, Based on the concerns of school moral education and traditional festivals, under the guidance of life theory and life moral theory, choose Tomb-sweeping Day back to the real life as an education sample, in order to compensate for the lack of moral education and raise people's awareness about traditional festival. This is the original purpose of studying the meaning of moral education in Tomb-sweeping Day.Second, interpretation of Tomb-sweeping Day's culture essence. First, know generally the origin , the evolution and the related customs, finally analysis its cultural character. It will interpret Tomb-sweeping Day from different levels , such as filial piety, ancestor worship and consanguinity, it is also the foundation to prove Tomb-sweeping Day's importance.Third, Field Work about Tomb-sweeping Day in Yibin County. Just from the cultural connotation of worship of Tomb-sweeping Day, we can see that Tomb-sweeping Day has a moral educational value, it is a fact that need not to prove. However, I still insist on investigating Tomb-sweeping Day of Yibin County from the real life, the only purpose is to reaffirm Tomb-sweeping Day's moral education meaning, and it is a useful complement to the second chapter.Fourth, integrating the facts of life, from moral education's character and moral education's mechanism, try to expatiate why the festival has a sense of moral education and how to function. Tomb-sweeping Day places itself in the real life, thus life gives it general life character, while it is a specific and particular life, so it has its uniqueness. For example, comprehensive, living, self-construction characteristics. How does Tomb-sweeping Day play the meaning of moral education? This study combines the facts of life, from experience, dialogue, situation mechanism to discuss how Tomb-sweeping Day play its meaning. Tomb-sweeping Day contains rich resources of moral education, a variety of moral manners, in life, with life, around life, it is a special kind of life education and a supplement for traditional school moral education, so it is a good moral education mode, it has a moral education worthiness.
