Different people have been noticed the same thing that the violent crime frequently happens in junior high school students.There are still many dropouts under the nine-year compulsory education system, some of them become out of school and deep into the street.What are the reasons indeed? Previous studies focused more on the reports of the fact of school dropouts, the quantitative statistics of street children living environment, or the explain of the phenomenon from grand sociological theories.There are little researches on the perspective of young people's own interpretation.Social interaction perspective posts great importance to the understanding and interpretation of the parties.It can be used as a break through to explore the facts in street children in junior high school street youth.This research attempts to find the social fact in junior high school street youth groups.It comes from a subjective perspective of the youth.This research uses the social interaction theory, especialy the negotiation theory frame,it also uses the qualitative field research methods, using non-participant observation, participant observation, focus group interviews and qualitative interviews to collect information. This study explores the basic characteristics of street children in junior high school students, their characteristics of social interaction at school, their explain of it, the characteristics of social interaction on the streets, their understanding of it, the transition between the junior high school students and the street youth, as well as the understanding of these two roles.They still dream of the student role after becoming street youth, this study also analied the logic behind the facts is their identification of the significance, which are freedom, self-realization and protection.The study found that the essence of the street children arising from the interaction in street children, school education and their parents. They are not satisfied with the current repressed or neglected status and to seek of freedom, status and protection.That becomes their definition of the new role and entrust the meaning to the role of street youth. They negotiate between the roles of the students and the street children, and some choose to become street children in this process, but they still aspire the role of students and hope to adopt success through education, and to recognize the significance of his own. Which determine the definitions and the changes of students and the street children is that their pursuit of freedom, respect, sense of security protection, sharing, self-realization and to obtain a certain status.They are just the meaning conveyed in the street youth themselves,the others and the context in social interaction. The article also reflects on the research gaps and the further studies.In the end, the researchers gives a countermeasure from the system and the guide of the junior high school street youth.Finally the researcher shared some experience in this study.
