-At present, the standard of the education in rural areas is at a low level generally, the key reasons for that are the shortage of teachers there and serious imbalance with the configuration of qualified teachers between urban and rural areas. Therefore, strengthening the building of the ranks of rural teachers is one of the primary assignments to enhance the quality of rural education and promote the balanced development of urban and rural education. There exists huge challenge upon the rural teachers either in the elementary school or in the high school with the constantly acceleration of the process of education information and continually deepening of the new curriculum reform. Expect for continuing to implement urban and rural teachers exchange system, we must attach importance to help rural teachers realize self-development. Only if putting teaching and research activities into practice and promoting the coordinated development between urban and rural teachers, which is the fundamental way to achieve the educational equity.At the theoretical level, firstly, the article analyzes the existent drawback of urban and rural teachers exchange system; then through literature study, it concludes the advantages and disadvantages of current teaching and research activities either with traditional manner or network manner; eventually, after analyzing the actual condition and related theories, such as Learning Community Theory, Interaction Theory, Case Methods of Teaching Theory and so on, this paper builds a theoretic model by taking the example of teaching and research activity of demonstration teaching. The theoretic model is about using network platform to organize urban and rural teachers'teaching and research activity. Meantime, it also interprets the whole theoretic model by elaborating the two important stages which are synchronous and asynchronous research activity.According to the theoretical model, we carry out the practical research which is synchronous teaching and research activity based on distance interactive platform between Zhejiang and Guangdong teachers in order to prove the feasibility and effectiveness of urban and rural teachers'synchronous demonstration teaching activity with remote interactive platform, moreover, the research also analyzes the practical effect combined with questionnaire survey method and on-site interviews, which has proved that there exists the feasibility and effectiveness of the synchronous teaching and research activity between urban and rural teachers. Meantime, in view of the assumption of carrying out asynchronous demonstration teaching activity between urban and rural teachers, we select one representative case, and analyze specifically by the method of content analysis.It is show that synchronous and asynchronous research activity based on Education Information Platform can achieve the intercourse between urban and rural teachers feasibility and efficiently. It breaks through the time and space constraints in the traditional watch-curricular activities and exerts the strong interaction characteristics of the network. Based on this, it realizes the separation of teaching and research activities and classroom teaching, the coexistence of synchronous and asynchronous learning, and the combination of organized collective teaching and research and individual learning, which has been widely recognized and supported by urban and rural teachers.
