This study is aimed at understanding the geo-spatial shape of junior secondary students and then learning the status of the elements; and if the learning ability of different students on shape of geo-spatial exist differences; test sketch-style advance organizers of teaching strategies on middle school students to learn the geographical contours of the region of space, spatial arrangement of the state learning, spatial forms of learning whether a catalytic role; this teaching method of sketch map type advance organizers would achieve the purpose of improving teaching quality and efficiency of geographical space shape of junior high school and become an effective teaching strategies.Study used the method of natural experiment by the experimental group and control group pre-test - post-test experiments, and in case of the same basic eighth grade two classes for research object (in the total number of the number of boys and girls, the average age and pre-test results are almost identical and so on), randomly selected one class of them (46 students) as the experimental class, while the other class(44 students), became the control class and then began the experimental teaching. The experimental group students were taught by the teaching strategies of ketch-style advance organizers, while the control group students taught by conventional teaching methods in general. The two classes were taught by the same teacher like before.This study tools include the profile test questions (Appendix II) of geo-spatial area for junior high school, the test questions (Appendix 4) of state geo-spatial arrangement of junior high school and the test questions (Appendix 5)geo-spatial form of junior high school; collected some relevant data for the analysis of statistics as Results.The experimental results tell us that the test scores of knowledge of geo-spatial shape of the experimental group students in junior high school of the acceptance of sketch-type advance organizers teaching strategies significantly higher than that of the control group students taught by a traditional teaching model; and test scores of knowledge geo-spatial shape of the students in junior high school accepting the traditional teaching model of the control group of conventional had no significant difference.Based on data of the experimental, and also including research analysis, it is concluded that teaching strategies of sketch style advance organizers for junior high school can promote learning of the shape of the geographical space; in the same time we can find the teaching strategies of sketch style advance organizers for junior high school can improve the students to learn geo-spatial shape and capacity-building as an effective teaching techniques, in the teaching process appropriate use of sketch-type advance organizers can better promote junior high school students to learn the shape of space and improve the quality of teaching ,and of course it must promote geography teaching.
