| Huanren Manchu Autonomous County, located in Changbai mountain area, is a small city of Liao Ning Province, Northeast of China. Due to some objective factors, such as, remote area, sparsely populated, inconvenient traffic, and forced moving away because of building the reservoir etc, the education of Huanren has lagged behind other areas in many years. In relationship to these circumstances, this county had adopted a boarding-school plan. After the successful practice, they adjusted the layout of elementary and secondary schools in a large-scale. So are the questions: why did this county take this adjustment? How did they carry out this adjustment specifically? What are the difficulties? What about the new layout? What will happen to the administrators, educators, teachers, students and also their parents? From the educational administrators'point of view, the researcher made a first-hand investigation to this county with all these questions, in order to make out Huanren's development of education, especially research on the current changes of this education.This article has five parts:Part 1: Introduction: the conceptual definitions; the current research on the layout of compulsory education and the relative policy of our country.Part2: The background of education before adjusting, the researcher will introduce the reason why to adjust the layout of Huanren's elementary and secondary schools, and it's originated.Part3: The process and results of the adjustments. The researcher will elaborate on the layout adjustment of Huanren by specific measures and implementation procedure bases on guiding thought and basic principles,and descript the results of adjustment.Part4: Different view on the adjustment: analysis on the positive and negative experiences of adjusting from different point of view.Part5: Suggestions: according to the problems of adjusting, the researcher proposed some feasible suggestions. |
