Game, as one of the derivatives of the computer, has a profound impact on young people's learning and life, but also injected new elements into education. As a kind of new things and new technology, educational games will not necessarily bring about a decisive change in the ways and means of education, but influence on the development of education can not be ignored. So, how to better integrate the education element of the game into the traditional classroom teaching, students explore learning and learn collaboratively in game situations with the teachers' help, and from the point of raising interest and motivation, students learn knowledge, but also experience the joy of learning, it is our urgent need to think about. Due to educational game's two sides'feature, it has the advantage that other teaching resources can not match with, there is also its own shortcomings. We used its strength to avoid the short, so teachers and students can use educational games for learning activities skillfully in teaching practice.First of all, at the background of the rise of edutainment technology and the people be worried about educational games used in the teaching activities, Chinese characters learning are so insipid for the pupils, so the questions have been put forward. The article is to explain how important the educational games used in the characters learning and the impacts on the learning ways for the elementary students. Educational games not only make up for inadequacy of the pupils'way of learning Chinese characters, but also enrich the teaching methods for teachers.Second, based on the analysis of previous research and a lot of literature, card the concepts of educational games and character learning, and then analyze and summarize the research status in china and countries abroad.Then, combined with the characteristics of primary school students'way of learning Chinese characters, we designed the instruction referring to the integration of traditional classroom and education of Chinese teaching. Educational design mainly consists of teaching goals analysis, learner characteristics analysis, teaching content analysis, the choose of educational games, teaching process and evaluation of all aspects.In accordance with features of educational games and characteristics of students, also from the points of fully embodying teacher-led and student-led perspective to design educational games, paving the way to teaching which realizes educational games use in the classroom teaching process.On the basis of theory exploration, the article put forward application methods and strategies of education games in primary school characters teaching, designed teaching program for part of learning modules of fourth-grade Chinese characters. The article carried out teaching practice, Licheng District, Putian City, Fujian Province north high center of fourth-grade students as study objects. After teaching practice, we explored the effectiveness of education game in instruction by way of the questionnaire.
