School sports is not only an important part of school education, but also the most important organizational forms and ways of achieving the most basic school physical education,Track and field teaching in physical education is one of the main elements, it occupies a middle school PE curriculum for a large proportion. The implementation of track and field teaching, to a certain extent, reflected the completion of high school physical education programs and the overall quality of teaching. By the learning of basic knowledge and basic skills of track and field, students can promote physical shape and the coordinated development of organ system function, improve endurance, strength, agility and basic activities such as physical capacity, students'brave, this function is something that other sport can not be replaced. Physical Education is the complexa of physical education teacher, students, teaching materials and teaching methods and other elements, these various elements are interconnected and interdependent. only the overall effect of the various elements are fully integrated can achieve the purpose of physical education tasks. A successful track and field teaching must coordinate the relationship between the four elements ,this is the only way to ensure the track and field teaching in optimization. The investigation and analysis of Kaifeng city track and field teaching in secondary schools aimed at a comprehensive understanding of Kaifeng City Middle School Track and Field Teaching , looking for factors, and propose a solution targeted for the new era of sports-based educational reform, especially in track and field teaching reforms put forward ideas for the functional departments of education, provide a theoretical basis for further deepening of reform. At the same time, in order to provide theoretical reference for sports policy-making departments in Kaifeng.Based on documentation, investigation method, mathematical statistics and logical analysis, we analyze the strength of Middle School Physical Education Teachers in Kaifeng, the guiding ideology, teaching contents, methods of track and field teaching. The results are as follows: 1. Most of the middle school track and field facilities can satisfy the needs of schools in Kaifeng, but the venue standards and specifications have not reached the ideal venue in particular, the per capita area of occupancy is low; track and field equipment, certain types of teaching that there are a shortage of phenomenon, widespread aging equipment, update is not timely, the lack of scientific management and other issues.2. Through the power of teacher education research and analysis, we can see that the higher level of physical education teacher education, age structure, reasonable and consistent with the current physical education development, but physical education teachers of the male-female ratio is too large, is not conducive to the development of sports.3. Kaifeng City Middle School track and field teaching is still mainly dominated by competitive materials, highlighting the health of materials and not widely implemented, and the number of hours of teaching did not meet requirements.4. Track and field teaching is not completely achieve the required of the outline, junior high schools, high schools have not been completed achieved less than half of the hours, this is affecting the quality of teaching; track and field competitions indoor classes and related extra-curricular activities have not received enough attention situation, indoor lesson teaching content is less than normal, extra-curricular activities are lack of diversity of race in the form.5.
