Research For Adaptive Content Present System Of Excellent Course Webcite Based On Agent Technology

With the development of network technology and the widely use of the Intelligent Tutoring System (ITS), the teaching on the net has become a more prominent subject for study in the field of educational technology. During the process of the learner's study and accumulate of the knowledge, the teaching website of Excellent Course can make their basic teaching request come true, but it's not able to provide satisfying service for the adaptive learning. Especially it is weak in providing some suitable learning content for learners of different learning styles and knowledge levels. This thesis makes a study and some improvement on the above-mentioned defects, combing the features of the Agent Technology with the Content Present System.First, based on the comparison and analysis of international learning style theories and education theories, the thesis selected Richard Olive and Kolb's learning style model, and based on the learning style model, proposed the design of individualized teaching strategies, which adapt for wb teaching.Then, the thesis designed Student Model and Domain Knowledge Model. The design of education content is the core of Excellent Course construction, as the basement of the realization of adaptive learning, the reasonable express of the Domain Knowledge Model is benefit for searching the course content and helping students to establish a good framework of knowledge, it conduces to processing and decisive inference in the system; as the basis for realizing individualized learning and providing the real intelligent touring, Student Model plays an important role in the individualized learning.At this thesis describes, an Agent layer is played in the traditional B/S mode to from a three-layer B/MA/S mode. Multi-Agent layer is universal, it can ues in various web teaching system of Excellent Course, and the Agent is used to manage the information about the learners dynamic track of the Student Model. The autonomy and reactivity of the Agent can satisfy the need for individualized teaching. Design and study for Adaptive Content Present System by making use of Prometheus which is an Agent-Oriented Software Engineering, then establish the exploitation project. Build the Adaptive Content Present System model under the mode of Agent by using of PDT, then verify ahd test the model by using of cross check tool.
