The Research On The Tradition Of Sports And Games For Ethnic Groups In China

China is a united multi-ethnic country, in the long process of production and life, all ethnic minorities work together to create the minority sports of distinctive ethnic features and characteristics for its long history, rich content, a variety of forms, simple style, and the unique role and enormous influence, and it has become a great treasure in Chinese culture. Not only does a comprehensive analysis of Chinese traditional minority sports play a positive role in promoting the healthy development of minority sports, meeting people's growing needs for minority sports, and promoting people's understanding and appreciation of diverse minority sports and multi-ethnic national culture, but also offers a deeper understanding on inheriting cultural heritage and promoting the national spirit.This study researches Chinese traditional minority sports by using literature review, interviews, comparative study and field research mainly from the aspects of traditional culture, ethnic customs, geography, economy and culture type, lifestyle and productive labor, the country's political institutions and policies, ethnic minorities'sense of identity on the culture of national sports. This paper summed up the causes of Chinese traditional ethnic sports and the influence of all the factors while learning the developing process of the minority sports, which helps people more accurately and profoundly understand the national culture, grasp national spirit, inherit traditional culture, make people aware of the existence of traditional minority sports, make a better grasp of the future direction of national sport, and have a profound significance on the development of ethnic minority sports. The conclusions are as follows:1. As a special cultural phenomenon, minority sports suffers from the inevitable constraints of traditional culture on its own development.2. In the broad Chinese cultural background, the minority sports are often integrated with each other and promote each other.3. Natural geography environment plays a decisive role in the initial stage of formation of traditional ethnic sports, it reflects the adaptability and selectivity of the minority sports on geographical environment.4. The economic base determines the superstructure, the economic development of different cultural types consolidates the traditional ethnic sports to varying degrees and create conditions for further development of traditional sports.5. Our diverse lifestyles and productive labor created a series of colorful ethnic minority sports, while the unique way of production and life is also the source and soil for the minority sport and its tradition.6. Our ancient political system and modern principles and policies affect the formation and development of traditional ethnic sports from different aspects, the former inhibits its formation while the latter promotes its development.7. The nation's sense of identity on the culture of minority sports further promotes the development of Chinese traditional minority sports.
