Post-modern critical pedagogy, represented by Giroux, transforms into ideology criticism of a highly developed capitalist society .It advocates that social criticism must be accompanied by political and economic transformation. Through the interpretation of the concept of hegemony, the post-modern critical pedagogy of Giroux analyses the details of the ideological mainstream of society and he advocates that the solution of education and social problems must be through the means of education and politics. Giroux starts from the oppressed and the marginalized, and emphasizes the importance of differences, pluralism, voice. In addition, he also opposes the transition to simplify high or low culture and simplify the distinction of classics and popularity. Meantime he allows the possibility of cross-border with a multi-cultural color.Modernism reminds us the importance of an ethical, historical and political discourse. At the same time, post-modernism challenges the kind of whole discourse, and emphasizes contingency and specialty, and provides a new theoretical language. for the development of - different kinds of politics. Post-colonialism uses and rejects the post-modernism., in order to offer possible language to further difference politics and position politics. Postmodern feminism stresses the importance of our point of view on the political plans. They provide the opportunity of political voice based on the political fighting. The politics links to political and personal relations for justice and social transformation as a wide range of components and the struggle. Concept of culture must be provided with political implications, making it the ideological and material controversy field.There are three sections in this thesis. The first section is mostly related to four parts: the post-colonial, post-modernism, post-modern feminism and culture. The second section explores Giroux's post-modern critical pedagogy, from the perspective of boundary pedagogy and difference pedagogy .Cross-border pedagogy and shaping differences in politics are the most important perspective. The third section is reflection of Giroux's theory. The first part is Giroux's core strategy of his post-modern critical pedagogy. The second part is Giroux's reflection on the role of intellectuals. Lastly, Retrospect and Prospect of Giroux's post-modern critical pedagogy.
