Research On The Operational Mechanism Of Social Services Function In Research Universities

The social services function in Research Universities not only relates to the transformation of its own scientific research,but also the development of the region and our country through Science and Education Strategy.Research Universities in China started late in the social services,its operational mechanism still exists some issues.Therefore,to optimize the design of the operating mechanism to promote the social services of Research Universities,has become an urgent problem needs to be studied.In this dissertation,the three basic functions theory of the university,the Research University,social services function,operating mechanism, Wisconsin Idea,"Triple Helix"model and other aspects of related concepts and theories are first introduced.Afterward,through the introduction of the developments and characteristics of social services of Research Universities in the United States and China,we get some experiences from US.Next,we would analyze and summary the University of Wisconsin,the Hong Kong University of Science&Technology and Zhejiang University, three domestic and international Research Universities.to carry out the successful experience of social services,with the survey results,the problems and reasons of social services operating mechanism in Research Universities further defined.Finally,the dissertation creatively put forward the operating mechanism and its environmental optimization suggestions of social services function.to achieve the basic objectives of operating mechanism of social services function in Research Universities.
