With the continuous development of market economy, the economic structure of our country is going with the great adjustment. Thus, the technical professionals are badly needed by the society. Meanwhile, the need for job-transfer training and further education of in-service staff is becoming more and more urgent. The connection between education and industry is more and more closed. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out the thorough study on the major reform and direction of development of the higher professional education under the new circumstance. Since the 1990s, the higher professional education reform began to focus on learning from the advanced models in western countries. Although, we have made some progress, there still exit some problems. One of the prominent problems is failing to introduce the advanced theory of the curriculum evaluation as support. The dissertation carries out a careful study on the educational model of Australia, TAFE, which has been widely concerned in the higher professional education circle over the world. We take the curriculum evaluation of TAFE as the research object, and introduce its conception, teaching belief as well as the history. Furthermore, according to the introduction and analysis of the object, system and guarantee of TAFE curriculum evaluation with the example of Sino-Australian Cooperative Education Project sponsored by China Electricity Council, we depict the entire operating process of the curriculum evaluation in TAFE systematically. In consideration of the current problems which exist in higher professional education in our country, we should try to use the successful experience of curriculum evaluation of TAFE for reference, in order to improve the current situation of curriculum evaluation higher professional education in our country and promote the healthy development of the higher professional education.
