| The side effects caused by the continuous development of science and technology and economy has gradually brought human society into a risk society. While currently, the power of globalization is unceasingly forming a global risk society. The German renowned philosopher and sociologist Ulrich Beck has started a unique and novel researching angle of view to review the brand-new scene, difficulty and abuse of present global risk society, and has made comprehensive and profound analysis. Beck has raised the theory of risk society, and attempted to use "reflexive modernity" as the strategic plan to respond the global consequence of modernity crisis, and expressed revelatory viewpoint on diagnosis of the essential of "reflexive modernity".Taking the Marxism as the guiding ideology; applying the research method of combing the macro-research with the micro-research, history with logic and using the scientific contest method. This article has carried on the system explanation and research to Ulrich Beck's risk society theory. It consists of the following three parts:First, this thesis analyses the origin of Ulrich Beck's risk society theory, including how to profit from System Theory, Zoology Modernization Theory, Post-modernization Theory, Risk Cultural Theory, proposing to construct the mentality of " risk society research". Next, it expounds the concrete content of his theory and points out that his risk society theory displays mainly from the following view: globalization and risk society, main characteristic of risk society, the strategical response of risk society. Basing on the analysis of this theory, it evaluates his risk society theory and expounds his characteristic, limitation. Finally, the paper sums up Ulrich Beck's risk society theory's significance for our country's modern constructing. Ulrich Beck's risk society theory is good to start a new era of modernity diagnosis, enhance the research between modern and postmodern, reform the thought of risk administer, etc.
