The Study Of Contemporary Chinese College Students' Concept Of Socialist Democracy

People's democracy is the lifeblood of socialism. The Party has been consistently pursuing the goal of developing socialist democracy. To be the successors of socialism, contemporary college students have to build the concept of socialist democracy if they want to undertake the responsibility. Through a great deal of questionnaire surveys and reference documents, the article states and summarize the college students' major strengths and weaknesses in socialist democracy. At the same time, this article has searched for the causes and carried on the exploratory and relevant analysis, referring the importance and methods of strengthening the college students' study about the concept of socialist democracy.The article is composed of four divisions except the preface. Chapter1, the brief introduction of socialist democracy. In this part, some explanations about concept, socialist democracy and concept of socialist democracy are involved, also including the ingredients as follows: the cognition of socialist democracy; the attitude of socialist democracy; the will of socialist democracy and the faith of socialist democracy. Chapter 2, the questionnaire survey and the analysis about data of the concept of socialist democracy on contemporary college students; After accounting and analyzing the data, the article states and summarize the college students' major strengths and weaknesses in socialist democracy, for example: the contemporary college students have theoretically mastered the elementary knowledge of socialist democracy, holding the positive attitude to our country's democracy; In reality, most of the college students have gradually built the will and faith of socialist democracy. But, the survey also showed the college students' weaknesses in the concept of socialist democracy that they couldn't thoroughly obtained the cognition of socialist democracy; their attitude towards socialist democracy is not very clear; they couldn't hold the will and faith firmly. Chapter 3, analyzing the influential factors of socialist Democracy; According to the problems about socialist democratic concept, existed among the college students, this part discusses the three causes of the social environment, universities and students. Chapter 4, exploring the importance and pathway of strengthening the cultivation of socialist democracy. Here, we emphases the importance of strengthening the cultivation of socialist democracy. We must fully realize that we can benefit a lot from strengthening the cultivation of socialist democracy, because it can raise the speed of socialist democratic politics construction in our country; it can be helpful for us to fulfill the task about the college students' ideology and politics; also it can enhance the contemporary college students' quality. For overall, we explore the pathway of strengthening the cultivation of socialist democracy.
