This study is designed to explore the structure and influencing factors of web-based autonomous learning of college students. I hope to identify the issues which affect college students in web-based autonomous learning so that we can find the strategies to improve web-based autonomous learning of college students. Literature review and questionnaire have been used in this study. The tool used in this study is the self-made questionnaire of web-based autonomous learning of college students. 418 students of Linyi normal university and Shanghai normal university have been surveyed in this study.The data of questionnaire have been processed and analyzed in SPSS15.0. Descriptive statistic, independent sample t test and single factor analysis of variance have been used in this study. The results are shown as follows:1. Exploratory factor analysis of the scale of web-based autonomous learning of college students shows that the scale includes eight factors, which are learning plan, learning significance, intrinsic goals, self-efficacy, learning control, learning anxiety, general methods, and learning management. The results of the Reliability test and validity test of the scale of web-based autonomous learning of college students show that the reliability and validity of the scale are high. Confirmatory factor analysis results of the scale of web-based autonomous learning of college students show that its fit index is relatively ideal, and the scale of the scale of web-based autonomous learning of college students is acceptable.2. The level of web-based autonomous learning of college students has significant differences in major and school. Some factors of the questionnaire of the scale of web-based autonomous learning of college students are differences in gender, educational background and grade of college students. And there are no differences in the structure and the location of college students'family. That is, there are no differences in the college students'family background. The male college students are better than the female college students in learning plan and learning management. The undergraduates are better than the junior college students in self-efficacy, learning plan, learning management and learning anxiety, but the undergraduates are bad than the junior college students in intrinsic goals and learning control. The computer-majored college students'capability of web-based autonomous learning is remarkable higher than other college students. The science-majored students are superior to the arts-majored students in learning control and learning management. The Linyi normal university students'capability of web-based autonomous learning is remarkable lower than Shanghai normal university students. The sophomores are stronger than the senior in intrinsic goals and learning control, but the sophomores are weaker than the senior in learning management.According to the analysis, there are many suggestions that must be given. Firstly, the guidance on web-based autonomous learning of college students should be strengthened to enhance their initiative and consciousness, improve their learning efficiency, and reduce the level of their learning anxiety. Secondly, the skill of web-based autonomous learning of college students must be paid attention to so that the college students can learn easily by network. Finally, the government must increase investment in disadvantaged universities to enhance their competitiveness. The disadvantaged universities should improve circumstance to prove better service for the development of college students.
