Senior high school is the stage of a child into mature thinking and is the golden age of development of ability of quality thinking. Senior high school students are good and quick at thing and they have a strong sensitivity and curiosity. They like to explore the reason for problems and like to question, argue and comment. They're laying the foundation for the cultivation of students' quality thinking. Teaching of high school writing calls for quality thinking education, which focuses on the key point teaching. However, what we pay more attention to is the result of writing, which changes teaching into "technical training" and narrows the thought of students. Teaching process is in disorder, which runs far away from "student-centered" teaching ideal. So, in order to raise the ability of students' writing, effectively, teachers should fully focus on the features of students' psychological development, grasp the suitable period of students' mental development, and lay emphasis on the process of teaching.This article talks about the necessity of cultivating students' thinking ability in terms of the current situation, "students-centered" ideal and the requirement of the reform of Chinese course teaching. And it studies the trial of exercising the thinking ability of students on basis of other people's research.This thesis is divided into 4 parts,1. Understanding the importance of study based on situation of current teaching, "students centered" ideal and reform of teaching.2. Exploring the connotation of quality thinking on perspective of educational psychology and subject teaching.3. Explaining strategy of cultivating students' quality thinking. Illustrating quality thinking on base of experiential training.4. Reflecting of cultivating students' quality thinking.
