The Study On Collage Teachers' Job Satisfaction In Hohhot Region

College teacher is a kind of high-level human resource, which belongs to the special academic human resource. College teachers are the main body of the higher education system and the emphasis and difficulty of college human resource allocation in colleges and universities. This study uses the self-compiled Questionnaire on Job Satisfaction of College Teachers in Hohhot Region to make questionnaire survey on 540 college teachers in Hohhot region. According to this study, there are four main problems existing in the job satisfaction of college teachers in this region: the job satisfaction of young and middle-aged college teachers is minimum; college teachers are under great job pressure, which reduces their job satisfaction; college teachers' satisfaction with job returns is not very high; college teachers', especially aged teachers' satisfaction with the school management is low. To know college teachers'real demands and to understand and grasp the aspects which they are satisfied with or not have important practical significance to improve the quality of higher education teaching and the effectiveness of school management, and provide basises for the human resource development and management of college teachers of in Hohhot region.This thesis mainly includes four parts. Part I expounds the concept of job satisfaction, structure and theoretical basis. Part II analyzes the basic situation of the job satisfaction of college teachers through analyzing the survey data. Part III points out the main problems of the job satisfaction of college teachers and makes a cause analysis. From four levels including the governmental level, school level, society level and teacher level, Part IV puts forward the countermeasures and proposals to improve the job satisfaction of college teachers in Hohhot region.
