| In order to identify the mental health differences of different morning exercises groups in Urumqi, and to understand the impact of different factors on the crowd morning exercises, a survey was conducted on the mental health of the crowd morning exercises people in Urumqi by using literature, interviews, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics, and analysis of comparative law. The results are as follows:(1)The overall level of the mental health of morning exercises groups in Urumqi is better than the national norm. Except the terrorist factor, there are lots of differences in other factors between local and National norm. This phenomenon is shown in Non-sports morning exercises groups. However, to the sports morning exercises groups, there are significant differences comparing all the factors and the symptom index of the national norm.(2)Demographic variables greatly influenced the mental health of morning exercises people in terms of gender, race, age, education level, work status, income, occupation type and family type factors. According to the symptom index, the following groups have the relatively poor overall mental health: female, ethnic groups, people who are less than 30, illiterate and highly educated people, laid-off group, students, low-income populations with less than 670 Yuan and the couples.(3)In Urumqi, the symptom index and factors varied a lot in mental changes which is caused by morning exercises and people's physical state. And people with mental stress and depression have worse mental health compared to other general adults.(4)Perennial morning exercises of less tension and small intensity for 60 minutes daily has a positive impact on the mental health. In Urumqi, the factors and the symptom index varied among different forms of groups, exercise duration, exercise frequency, the sweating capacity and years of sustained period of morning exercises. To the people who have different intensity of physical exercise, there are no significant differences in all the factors except the terrorist factor.Government and other departments should pay full attention to the physical and mental health of morning-exercise people, especially those groups with poor mental health. Besides they should increase the efforts for health education and strengthen the monitoring of mental health of public, and take positive measures to improve people's physical and mental health. |
