Study On The Large-scale Development Of Graduate Education And Its Relative Resolutions

Along with the popularization of advanced education in my country, graduate education is playing a more and more important role in the society. In this background, expanding enrollment of undergraduate motivates graduate education to develop drastically, which results the development of graduate education into an abnormal state, leading our country to become a great power of graduate education. In this dissertation, based on the previous literatures, we investigated the large-scale development of graduate education and discussed its motivators, characteristics, existing problems and relative resolutions. This dissertation consists of the following six chapters:Chapter 1 This part mainly focused on significance of the selected topic, the status of research, related reviews and main approaches to processing research.Chapter 2 Popularization of advanced education was defined. Base on detailed analysis, we pointed out that popularization of advanced education was indispensable for adapting to international environment, implementing the strategy of prospering the nation by science and education, improving the quality of the general public and ensuring the social equality.Chapter 3 The large-scale development of graduate education in the background of its popularization was introduced. We analyzed the relationships between the popularization and large-scale development of graduate education, and reviewed the large-scale development of graduate education.Chapter 4 The status of the large-scale development of graduate education was analyzed in detail. We investigated the factors influencing the large-scale development of graduate education. These factors derived from politics, economic, educational resources and educated people. Additionally, we performed a study on the characteristics of the large-scale development of graduate education in my country.Chapter 5 We discussed the problems that arose from the large-scale development. The drastic increase in the scale of graduate education certainly will cause some issues, which mainly include its effect on economic development, employment situation, the frame of advanced education and the quality of graduate education.Chapter 6 We proposed some strategies for realizing the large-scale development of graduate education. In the background that advanced education is becoming more and more popular, enlarging the scale of graduate education is a long-term strategic task for developing advanced education. However, expanding scale of graduate education caused some problems, which were mentioned in Chapter 5. To resolve the contradiction of the large-scale development of graduate education with socio-economy, the frame of advance education and the quality of education, we have to propose some relative strategies to insure sustainable development of graduate education.
