| This study focused on the research of communication between principals and teachers and the teacher's Occupational happiness, at the same time to explore the interactive relationship between them. Furthermore, the author wants to make useful suggestions for the educational authorities, school principals and follow-up researchers.This study uses literature analysis, questionnaire surveys and interviews, including 515 teachers from Jiangsu, Shanghai, Zhejiang and Anhui as objects of this survey. Through interviews with 13 principals, the author makes the following conclusions:(l) The level of Communication behavior between principals and teachers and the sense of teachers' occupational well-being, on the overall, is medium;(2) Principals who work more than 8 years have better communication behaviors; (3) Different titles of teachers have significant feeling differentiation on the principals communication behaviors; (4) The gender of the principals have significant influences on the sense of teachers' occupational well-being; (5) Teachers in different cities have significant feeling differentiation on the sense of occupational well-being; (6) The communication behavior between principals and teachers and the sense of teacher's professional well-being is significantly correlated; (7) The communication behavior between principals and teachers can effectively predict teachers' occupational well-being.According to the results, the author makes the following recommendations for educational authorities and school principals respectively:1. Educational authorities(1) Reducing principals' transfer as much as possible.(2) Enhancing principals' training especially principals in countryside so as to improve their qualities.(3) Reducing the routine check of schools and providing substantial helps for them.(4 ) Promoting the equitable development of education and paying attention to the survival condition of teachers of countryside schools and weak schools.2. School principals(1) The principals should break through school management system's hierarchy and communicate with teachers as much as they can. (2) The principals should care more about teachers' life conditions in management process and strengthen emotional communication with teachers.(3) The principals should build good communication channels, use communication function of regular meeting and encourage all teachers especially female teachers to make decisions.(4) The principals should give teachers more supports and encouragements and improve the mutual trust between principals and teachers.(5) The principals should actively communicate with old teachers to increase their sense of belonging and responsibilities. |
