The strategy to prosper the country through scientific and educational advances has brought our nation great achievements, and the strategy for talents education ensures our country to step into the first-class-country in the world. However, in the aspect of all-round quality education of students, especially the spirit of innovation, practical ability and thinking ability, there is still space for us to make further efforts. In conjunction with many years of personal experiences of teaching intelligent robots, discussions and suggestions for intelligent robot teaching are demonstrated in this paper, such as the objective of the new curriculum of information technology system, significance and purpose of the development and the creation of the curriculum for artificial intelligence robots, the current situation and problems and difficulties of the intelligent robot course, contents selection of the lectures, uses of the teaching and learning methods for this subject, the assessments of students' work and the problems occurring in this field, etc.During primary and secondary school, students don't have the opportunities to improve their creativity and activity skills, that is, students lack of the opportunities for self-display in the most curious, hands-on favorite stage, though this is the best time to develop their abilities for innovation, practice and thinking. With the development of reform for fundamental education in China, a single curriculum can no longer meet the needs for all regions, while more diversified curriculums are required. Schools should make school-based curriculum and supplement based on their own situation and teaching facilities.
