Guizhou as an underdevelopment province which is full of minority nations in political, economic and cultural, P.E is very difficult to develop in colleges because it is effect by such factors. It is an effective way to improve the quality of physical education to develop and use resources of the traditional sports of ethnic minorities positively in Guizhou universities; it is also an important way to reform the PE in universities of Guizhou.This paper used questionnaires, interviews and statistics to investigate in 10 representative universities of Guizhou. such as implementation of the physical education curriculum; several modes of physical education; physical education curriculum and course structure; physical education content; physical education curriculum resources and teaching conditions. The results show that development of Physical Education Curriculum resources in universities is facing much difficulty. At the same time, the article also investigated the basic traditional sports in the minority colleges and universities of Guizhou, the results show that the leaders the teachers and students all take a positive attitude for traditional ethnic minority sports of curriculum resource development. These are main factors of impacting for carrying out the traditional sports in ethnic minorities of universities. The research and teaching immature of traditional ethnic minority sports; not enough publicity, can't create an atmosphere of culture on campus of traditional ethnic minority sports; lack of teachers; without a complete system of teaching materials; Project itself, and other factors.
