With the emergence of the knowledge-based economy,in particular,associated with rapid socio-economic growth,china's higher education has entered an unprecedented period of opportunity for good development.Since 1992,with the merger wave of the university,it has formed a number of new universities.For the university,in particular the new university in "climbing" stage has to consider much questions,that how to gain the survival and development in this context,how to seize the opportunity in future, standing on the forefront of world university development,achieved development by leaps and bounds,etc.Through a variety of forms such as interviews,field observation,data collection, this paper has selected Hubei University of Economics(HBUE) which formed six years in that context,to study the process of organization development.Firstly,it defines the concept about organization development of entrepreneurial university,namely that the use of certain techniques and methods,the entrepreneurial universities have planned,systematic,long-term change and development,the use of a driving force to eliminate the development of resistance,so that it has rapid development and meets the require of community and the country,better achieved the university's mission.It includes the development of strategy,structure,personnel,products(students), culture(university spirit,campus culture),environment,etc.Secondly,it overviews the formation of six years' history from the perspective of historical,which divided into four phases of substantive integration period,the new campus construction period,assess and reform period,five school anniversary celebrations and the second starting period.And it has showed different characteristics of four stages of organization development.Thirdly,it inducts the five major dilemmas about HBUE development:need to improve the organization structure,human resources are shortage of integrating,need to improve the quality of personnel training,so long so that cultivating the school culture, the development of outlying is restricted.The fourth,from the point of organizational health,in view of the characteristics of the university,it puts forward five optimize recommendations:to strengthen the university of positioning,adjust the organizational structure;to enhance human development,to attract talented people;lay a solid foundation for quality talent, strengthen the "San Shi" cultivate;nurturing the spirit of the university,achieve co-evolution;to expand the external space,the university tries entrepreneurship. And at last,through studying the organization development of HBUE,for the organization development of entrepreneurial university in china,it aspects five of enlightenments:temper education philosophy,strengthen the scientific positioning; building advantages of disciplines,clear sponsoring characteristics;abatement organization inertia,maintain the reform momentum;construct psychological contract, innovative campus culture;rational use of brain,attention expert advice.
