This study is used vocational and technical college of S for a case, take a full description: S higher vocational college implement general education background, the Construction of general and professional education, and its approaches of implementation. And then, based on the description of S college, taking systematic Analysis of current implementation of general and professional education , such as: the lack of the policies of national higher vocational education, connotation of national higher vocational education, Curriculum setting, teachers construction, campus culture, management system and so on, and we can get some inspiration from this case. at last, in a conclusion: the purpose of general education is to cultivate"all-around"developmental people, which is accord with the standard of talent cultivating of notional higher vocational education.
