This paper studies middle school students' authentic composition and its teaching. It can be divided into three parts: introduction and literature review, text and conclusion.In the first part, the paper mainly discusses the reasons, objectives and significance of choosing this topic. The second part includes three levels. The first level analyzes in-depth about composition teaching distortion in our country and discusses the reasons of composition teaching distortion. At this level, the paper discusses eight aspects such as exam-oriented education and etc, and then puts forward a concept of authentic composition, reveals the meaning of authentic composition, analyzes the theoretical basis of authentic composition and sums up the characteristics of authentic composition teaching. The second level expounds the basic objectives of authentic composition teaching. This can be start from two aspects such as knowledge objective and ability objective.In knowledge objective, the paper comes up an opinion of using knowledge concept to review composition teaching, developing language communicative competence and setting up appropriate knowledge structure which suit for student to write. In ability objective, the paper focuses on developing students' language and thinking ability. The third level attaches great importance on some key problem in authentic composition teaching. In the process of authentic composition teaching, teacher should pay more attention to five key issues, that is writing real people and stories, express true feelings; creating a contexts; implementation of Seamless composition teaching; highlighting "Human Vision" in composition teaching; changing concepts, finding regular pattern and daring to try.This paper combining literature study and research methods, using teaching theory and linguistic theory, gradually discusses some relevant issues about authentic composition teaching in middle school, in order to give some services for useful and efficient composition teaching, and to find out scientific road for authentic composition teaching.
