Moral leadership is a systematic theory which bases on doubting the traditional collegiate leading pattern and research on school management critically.By comprehending what is leadership and the real structure of value behind a leader' s activity,as well as the authority bases of leading practice,moral leadership theory draw people' s attention to the moral situation in school leadership.The reason why we start a forward-looking research on school psychical education management under a moral way of thinking is to construct a virtuous school PE community.This research has great significance both in practice and theory.It not only helps to combine monocracy and the "rule of virtue" in school management,but also help us to discover the unique characters in school physical education management,to deepen our understanding on the essence of school physical education management,and to find the disadvantages of traditional school physical management,both in theory and in practice.Therefore, a switch from managing leadership to humanistic leadership will be promoted.This article starts from exploring the rising of moral leadership,explains the basic meaning and main character of moral leadership,and discusses the practical meaning of moral leadership in school management.Moral leadership inherits and develops the traditional "rule of virtue" culture of our country.It also embodies the essence of the education of China. It is an effective method both to change the undesirable condition in the management of schools in our country and achieve schools' training goals.Based on understanding the theory of moral leadership,the research analyzes the problems of current collegiate physical education management in China.It points out that human,which is the subject in school PE management,is often neglected.The conception of "people foremost" is not widely accepted. Superficial management and bureaucratic management are serious problems exited.Democratic management system is still not completed.In the current situation,service is lesser than management,which makes characteristics of students and teachers unable to blossom.Based on the current management system,school PE management should emphasize less on managing the enforcement of technology and methods and more on moral management.The research also discussed the principal of constructing moral leadership,systematic guarantee,structure,content, and construction.It holds the idea that we should build a common outlook for the development of PE development in schools, a developing system to evaluate teachers and a open and sustainable team learning system.Leaders should remember concept,put moral authorities at the first place and devote to his duty to achieve self-management.At the same time,it also points out that the enforcement of moral leadership should not go without the useful traditional management methods. Instead,managing theory and operating basis should be completed.Therefore,systematic guarantee is essential. Finally,it analyzes some examples on school PE moral management to find out the possibilities of constructing moral leadership.
