On The Integrity And Its Educational Strategies Of Independent College Students

Being honesty and trustworthy is one of the basic moral rules that every Chinese citizen should obey, as well as the traditional virtues in China. However, in our modern society, the lack of integrity has been confronted with unprecedented challenges and attracted special attention from the public. Even in our sacred ivory tower, some of the university students who are reputed as "the God's favorite" also behave various acts of bad faith. Therefore, the research on faith education of university students not only has the urgency and necessity in our times, but also has important theory and realistic significance. On the whole, this paper has discussed the profound connotation of honesty education, investigated the honesty condition among some independent colleges in Hunan province, analyzed the reasons for lack of honesty from the objective and subjective aspects, considered the honesty education and made some suggestions in order to settle the problem of lack of honesty.The paper made a definition of both honesty and honesty education, taking an emphasis on the necessity and urgency of the honesty education on university students. The lack of honesty among independent college students is further analyzed by the means of case analysis and investigation. The survey results shows that the lack of honesty among independent college students is reflected in such matters as seriously cheating on exams and job resume, malignantly defaulting tuitions, optionally discharging contracts, impure love motivation, bad internet morality. There are various reasons for lack of honesty education among the independent college students in China. In such situation, it is crucial for us to take action to resolve this honesty crisis.First,we must fulfil the position of honesty education and improve the method of honesty education in different respects. Meanwhile, we also should ensure to make the honesty education system on the basis concept of people-oriented perfectly.Last,we shoule establish a favorable honesty education environment.
