In the Asian' s last 20 of the qualification match for 2010 South Africa Football World Cup,China won 1,drew 3 and lost 2,just got 6 points in 6 matches so that they did not qualify for the World Cup. According to the FIFA' s latest rank on 17 December 2008,China' s rank had descended to 100th in the world and 11th in the Asia.Actually, the gap between China and the world has further enlarged. As the researchers who work for china football,we need to find reasons for the setback of Chinese football immediately. This research attempts to compare the attack organized after the tackle in defensive third for Chinese men' s team with that for the last 4 of the 2008 EURO Cup to find out the reason that cause the big gap between China and other advanced football team in Europe, combined with the situation of the Chinese football development,After that,we can provide Chinese football team some realistic references which can develop the techniques and tactics of defense. The results of the research are in the following:1.The effect of the fast counterattack in defensive third is better than general attack.2.The number of fast counterattack and general attack in china is similar with the last 4 of the EURO Cup,but the effect between them has a big difference.3.The number and effect of the general attack in theattacking third 35m can prove which team has better capability in team combination.4.The counter-tackle is the main reason for the failure of attacks organized from the defensive third between China and the last 4 of the EURO Cup,which illuminates the counter-tackle is main reason for the failure of the attack.5.The first three pass is the key to the attack organized after the tackle in defensive third both in fast counterattack or general attack.
