Research On The Feature And The Influence Of Competition Process Of Passing Errors During 2008 European Cup

pass is the foundation of Organizing offense and create shot opportunities, the necessary means to control the game. Therefore, the passing quality will determine the competition process and results. High-quality quickly and efficiently passing will make team more fluency and threatening in offense. Passing errors will decrease the offensive efficiency, and lead to the passive defense at the same time, and will have a negative influence to the competition. This article analyze the passing errors, combined with the 2008 European Cup match video, explore the reasons for passing errors, feature, and its influence on the games process.The European Cup is the highest levels competition in the world, it contains most of the world's top teams, it is known as "the mini World Cup". It represents the development direction of modern football, which is the important vector of study and analyze the feature of world football and the trend of it's development. In this paper, I used Method of documenta, methods of video observation, mathematical statistics, comparative analysis, expert interviews and other research methods, Analysis the Statistic of passing errors in all 31 games of the European Cup in 2008, results showed that: the number of errors in elimination series is higher than the group match, but no significant differences on statistics; the regional feature of pass errors have difference, the number of passing errors before the midfield is higher than the backcourt.; passing errors in different distances have difference, the number and quality of using short-distance and middle-distance passes have the positive correlation to the team rank. Different ways of passing ; different forms of passing have the difference number of passing failures and error rates; different directions passing has a difference in the number of errors, passing in all directions at different regions and distance have no difference; passing quality is different in passing status, rate of passing errors increase with the increase of Confrontation strength, the elimination series have higher Confrontation strength than the group match; the passing errors in different motion state have difference .there have most passing errors in"vice strong Confrontation condition"; the main cause for the passing errors are " wrong direction of passing "and" improper passing strength "; different directions and different distances passing errors have great difference to the process of match . the quickly counter-attack caused by passing errors have great influence to the process and results of the match.
