Reading education is an important part of Chinese curriculum. It is the most important in Chinese curriculum to do middle-school reading education well and to raise students' reading ability. And the philosophy of Chinese reading education is the reading education soul and the fundamentals guiding principle. So the thesis summaries reading education philosophy that have the profound influence in Chinese education history, sorts out, explains, reconsiders the reason of development and revolution, practice effect ,which bases on different periods of the related Chinese syllabus or curriculum standards reading education regulations (After the foundation of the China).The purposes of the thesis are to indicate the direction for the reading education and even the Chinese education clearly, to enrich our understanding of reading education, to have the possibility to pave the way or provide a direction of thinking for the emergence of new reading education theories.Literature search and comparative analysis are the major methods of the thesis. It bases on the Chinese syllabus or curriculum standards, selects typical events that can form some units, through which we can investigate the reflected reading education philosophy. And then outspread and recount them by exemplification and generalization, in part and in whole. It tries to comment by facts and propose practical instruction scientifically, avoids being an armchair strategist.Four chapters are included in the thesis. Chapter One gives an introduction of Chinese reading education after defining the concept of reading, reading education, reading education philosophy, and so on. And it makes the simple induction to under the different reading education philosophy's treading practice, too. Chapter Two sorts out the regulations of reading education shown in the Chinese Curriculum that belongs to the different periods of new China, through which we can compare vertical-sections of the different periods' reading education aims, contents, methods......So it is the preparatory work for refining reading education philosophy from the reading education regulations in the next chapter. Chapter three explains revolution process of reading education philosophy and its influence for the reading practice from reading education essence, the reading education main body, the reading accomplishment three aspects. Chapter Four analyses revolutionary reason of reading education philosophy and reading practice, and would look forward to the future!...
