| Classroom questioning is a main part of classroom teaching and a significant method to get teaching target. With the rapid development of science and technology, teaching methods have changed a lot, and more and more new technological methods in education are brought to classroom teaching. But the role of classroom questioning can not be replaced because of its significance. Questioning, as the most frequent teaching method, plays a very crucial role in classroom teaching. It is important to do some research in this field, theoretically and experimentally.New English Curriculum Standard has set a new standard for teachers on classroom teaching. But classroom technology is paid less attention than it should be. And educators don't make enough research on this field as it should do. Currently, in classroom teaching, problems related to classroom questioning have been very serious, which can't be ignored any more. Based on the research experts have made in this field, theories of classroom questioning and a lot of relative materials in this area, the author made a research, analyzed the main problems in high school English classroom questioning using and brought up some solutions in the end.This paper consists of five parts.The first part is introduction part, including the background of the study, the literature review of English classroom questioning and the value of the paper.The second part gives a brief introduction of the theories of English classroom questioning, including the concepts and relative theories of questioning, the aim and function of classroom questioning and how they are classified.The third part is the research part. The author investigates a high school English classroom questioning situation and finds some problems.The fourth part is the conclusion part. From the results of the research in the third part, the author sums up the main problems of high school English classroom questioning.The fifth part is the strategies part. The author tries to find strategies for these problems mentioned in the fourth part. |
