A Research On The Environmental Support System For Socialization Of The Migrant Workers' Children

At present,the population migration in our tend to be more "household" and "immigrant".This tendency inevitably led to a fast-growing "second-generation" group.Because that the most migrant workers are young and middle-aged,the majority of the "second-generation" group are primary or secondary school students.This stage is also the best time to get on the course of socialization.The "second-generation" group will grow up soon,getting into high school,universities and entering to the job market.If they cannot get enough support from the environment and cannot change their social roles steadily,smoothly,and rapidly,they will possibly be harmful to the whole society and lead to serious social problems. Therefore,to study the environment support system of the migrant workers' children is not only of great theoretical value,but also great practical significance.This study analyses the status about socialization of migrant workers' children,the problems they already have,and the relationship between environmental support system and the status of migrant workers' children comprehensively, systematically and deeply.It takes the way of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis and,having done systematically survey on the migrant workers and their children. In this study,there are four basic assumptions:The environmental support system has influence on the physical and mental development socialization of the migrant workers' children;The environmental support system has influence on the school education socialization of the migrant workers' children;The environmental support system has influence on the individual life socialization of the migrant workers' children;The environmental support system has influence on the interpersonal contact socialization of the migrant workers' children.Empirical results show that:home environment affects the migrant workers' children significantly on their physical and mental development socialization,school education socialization,individual life socialization and interpersonal contact socialization;school environment affects the migrant workers' children significantly on their school education socialization;social environment affects the migrant workers' children significantly on their physical and mental development socialization,individual life socialization and interpersonal contact socialization.In all, the assumption 1 in this study is totally confirmed;the assumption 2 in this study is totally confirmed;the assumption 4 in this study is totally confirmed;the assumption 3 in this study is partially confirmed.
