The sports of Shandong develops rapidly with its economy increasing unceasingly.Taking the Olympic Games strategy as the highest goal and implementing the "Olympic Games brings honor" plan recent years,the strength of athletics sports strengthened unceasingly in Shandong Province.The ascensive trend of the Shandong delegation's performance at nearly four national games is obvious,and Shandong has rushed to third position of the gold medal announcement and its total score is fourth at the tenth national games by 42 gold medals,2102.2 points,which is a new altitude.In addition,Shandong Province also brings honor in the world sports world's competition for our country unceasingly.The athletes' number of Shandong Province in all previous years Olympic Games increases basically and the sports events that Shandong delegation participates in become more and more.The first gold medal was gained at the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000 and Shandong got five gold medals,three silver medals and two bronze medals at the Beijing Olympic Games recently,which is the best performance so far.Shandong Province's athletics sports strength has made the very big progress,but it can't follow that it doesn't have certain disparity to the sports strong province's goal.To make a jump type development of sports in the short time,especially to meet the target that turning "big sports province" to "strong sports province",Shandong Province must strengthen the competitive power of sports events comprehensively.And a good chance for development is the holding of the 11th national games in Shandong Province.This research takes the Shandong Province athletics sports events as the object of study, uses literature research techniques,material method,expert interview,questionnaire survey procedure,mathematical method of average as well as logical analytic method and so on,and analyses the present development situation of Shandong Province athletics sports mainly from the result of the 7-10th national games and the Olympic Games,as well as the athletics sports professional talents.At the same time,according to the diagnosis of athletics sports events development's influencing factors,this research obtains some main factors.Then,based on the question discussion about athletics sports events' development in Shandong Province,the research puts some countermeasures with the purpose that it can be reference to some extent for the enhancement of Shandong Province athletics sports strength and its development.The results are as follows:1.The advantage events of Shandong Province are the sailing ship,the archery,the surfboard,the three big-ball sports and the track and field at 7-10 national games.The superiority of weight lifting is obvious and the fire,the archery,race boats,the swimming and the diving are following it at the Olympic Games.The result conforms to the national games,but it also shows a lot of difference.2.The proportion of athletes' number from three levels is only 1.0:1.4:5.0 in Shandong Province.3.With regard to trainer troop aspect,the population can satisfy the present training quantitative need basically.The deficiencies are as follows:The trainer troop's knowledge structure is unitary;the trainer troop's school record level is low;the trainer troop lacks training. And Shandong Province's referee gap is very big and the overall level is not high.4.The main factors that affect the development of Shandong athletics sports events include management system factors(that comprise the reserve personnel training mechanism,the scientific research support,the mechanism of athlete cultivation,the policy support,the trainer to train the mechanism,the incentive mechanism and the talents exchange mechanism),economic factors(that contain the government funds investment,the social investment,the regional economies strength,the training condition and the marketability degree of events),personnel factors(that are composed of the administrative personals,the athlete,and the trainer) and macroscopic environment factors(that contain the event society popularizing degree,the strategic concept,the event layout level and so on).The first five factors respectively are the government funds investment,the quality and ability of trainers,the level of athlete's quality,the mechanism of athlete cultivation and the reserve personnel training mechanism according to their scores.5.To advocate with great effort the multi-forms,multiplex,multi-ingredient coexisting extra-curricular training pattern and unity cultivation pattern of body and teaching and follow a socialization and industrialization way of development is the effective development path to promote the reasonable and efficient exploitation and utilization of Shandong Province athletics sports reserve human resources.Meanwhile,the government should use the different regulative patterns separately based on athletics movement events' marketability degree.
