Research On The Motivation Of The Part Of Middle-aged Man Participating In Leisure Sports In The Urban Of Beijing

With the literature survey and mathematical statistics, such as research methods, this paper investigated and researched some districts of Beijing concerning the middle-aged men whose motivation of participating the leisure sports, and also explored the motivational orientation, the impact factors and the impact of leisure motivation on leisure behavior of middle-aged men in Beijing urban area taking part in leisure sports. Moreover, the author also regarded this as the start point, middle-aged men in Beijing urban areas whose motivation of participant the leisure sports, to make suggestions. This paper also provided the reference for promoting the healthy, scientific and civilized participant of the leisure sports of middle-aged man in Beijing urban area, and also could be helpful for the development of adapting to the new century, new era and post Olympic time of leisure sports.Based on the research and analysis of middle-aged men in Beijing urban area taking part in leisure sports, the results shows that:(a) According to the reasons of the participant of leisure sports by the citizens, the motivations of participation in leisure sports were be reflected by four dimensions which are physical mental health, self-satisfaction, interpersonal activities and social status. The motivation of middle-aged man in Beijing urban areas participating in leisure sports tend to different tendencies by personal needs with high or low levels of points. With the motivational levels improved, the needs are more difficult to fulfilled, following the high levels of motivation tend to have smaller motivational orientation. Moreover the motivational orientation leisure Sports descending ordinal are: "to improve physical and mental motivation," "social and interpersonal motives," "self-motivated," "the status and prestige motivation", and also under the pressure of life, greater the stress undertaken, stronger desire reduced, and bigger goal of value required, then stronger intensity of motivation of participating in leisure sports it will be. The order of intensity of motivation of participating in leisure sports, from strong to week, is: "to improve physical and mental motivation," "social and interpersonal motives," "self-motivated," "the status and prestige motivation".(b) basic attributes and characteristics of occupation affects motivation tendency of middle-aged man in Beijing to participate in leisure; the age exerts strong influence on "sound physical and mental motivation" and weak binding on "social and interpersonal motives," "self-motivation" and "the status and prestige of the motives"; and less stronger influences of elementary and secondary education on the motivational orientation of participating leisure sports, while the higher education for participating the leisure sports participation motivation has a strong preference for the role; the change of marriage makes middle-aged man different in leisure sports motivational orientation and with the birth of the child which exercises pressure and burden for the family, so that the leisure sports motivation will more inclined to "enhance and strengthen the relationship between family members."(c) The distribution of leisure and sports facilities and social leisure environment such objective factors will be, to some extent, enhances or constraints on motivation intensity and extent of middle-aged man in Beijing participating in leisure sports, however, will tend to no direct role in the selection of the leisure sports motivation type.(d) Participation of leisure and sports activities become the preferred method to alleviate stress, but for the frequency and duration of each event of actual participation in physical exercise, less people can achieve the standard; casual partner selection reflects the motivational orientation of leisure sports participation and dependence of affection and friendship and other social relations by the leisure, expectations and dependence; based on different needs of leisure motivation, people selects different leisure sports venues, sports and leisure sports organization.
