According to the character of distance learning,adapt to the particularity of on-the-job adult learner and meet the requirement of student's self learning,one of the urgent problem in distance educational field is how to develop the learning evaluation.To evaluate distance learning must have standard,otherwise the evaluation will lost basis.Scientific and effective rubric afford evaluation standard,but also the efficient tool to concern learning process.Currently deficiency of study on the rubric design for assessment of distant education,to some extent restricts the development of distant education.In this study,with the guidance of modern learning evaluation theory,the theoretical research and application achievement of world wide distance learning evaluation and rubric were summarized, combined with the characteristic of distance learning model,widely consulting the experts,teachers and learners of distance educational field,designed the rubric for the evaluation,proposed the application strategies and introduced the activities developed on rubric based evaluation.At first,the investigation and study had been done on current situation about distance learning and distance learning evaluation,and research program had been worked out on this basis.Second, by the means of document analysis and theory approach,the indexes on process evaluation and summary evaluation rubric could be preparatory made out,and "Investigation Questionnaire on Distance Learning Evaluation Index" in teachers' version and students' version accordingly has been drawn up and sent out to investigate and survey.By use of SPSS and Factor Principal Components Analysis,first and second grade indexes were extracted,and established rubric index system preparatory.According to factor load and contribution rate of principal factor,the weighing of all indexes were calculated,and got the preparatory design on process and summary evaluation rubric. Finally,we consulted the experts to examine the validity of the rubric,then revised and modified them.A set of rubric system on distance learning evaluation used in distance learning practice were designed,including process and summary,the two independent and unified rubric.The process rubric had five first-grade indexes,including mutual situation,emotional attitude,information attainment,study strategy,target and plan,mainly used to evaluate the study attitude and strategy along with the learning process,monitor and adjust the learning program.The summary rubric had three first-grade indexes,including skill,emotion and consciousness,to identify the progress out of subject knowledge after the study.The research had also proposed rubric application strategy and distance learning evaluation scheme based on rubric,and searched out a set of methods about distance learning evaluation based on rubric...
